Study English in Worthing

Worthing, with close to 95,000 inhabitants is a quiet location 20 minutes away from Brighton on England's south coast. Throughout the summer it enjoys a pleasant and sunny climate which allows our students to further enjoy their time there.

The town has a pretty beach and a pier dating back to Victorian times as well as extensive parks, gardens and a busy commercial area. It is also just an hour and a quarter from London.

  • From July 2 to July 23 (3 weeks)

Academic Center

The school is situated in a quiet residential area just 5 minutes stroll from the center and its extensive commercial area. The classrooms are located within a large Victorian building and each class has audiovisial equipment, including a television and video. The school is accredited by the British Council and has been teaching English to international students for over 20 years.

Classes

The program includes 20 classes of general English in international groupings. Students will be placed in groups corresponding to their level, following an English level test. The maximum number of students per class is 15.

Accommodation

Families that treat our students as if they were one of their own. In each family there will only be one student who speaks Spanish. The studetns will stay on a full board basis shring a room with another international student. From Monday to Friday the students will have a packed lunch which they will eat at the school.

Activities, Sports & Excursions

The program includes full day excursions to cities such as London, Winchester or Canterbury as well as partial day excursions to Brighton, Lewes or Chichester. During these activities the students will be accompanied by native English counselors as well as supervised by our own monitor.

As well as this, each week a further 3 activities take place later in the day, such as an activity after dinner.

Counselors & Information

Students are accompanied at all times by a native English counselors as well as our own monitor who will travel from Madrid Barajas airport.
