Worcester is a prosperous city located in the heart of England with a population of 94,300 and traversed by the River Severn.

It has a magnificent cathedral which dates back to 1084 and which apprears on the reverse of the 20-pound notes.

The city is known for its mix of old and new buildings which can be found commonly in the commercial part of the city.

Academic Center: Worcester University

The University of Worcester has excellent facilities which include a large sports hall and two large grounds of artificial grass for basketball, soccer and hockey. There is also a modern hall for shows and cinema nights, dance studio and a small gift shop which also sells snacks. The campus is just a 20 minutes stroll away from the city center.

Classes

Students will receive 20 English lessons per week, which take place from Monday to Friday, in groups according to their English level, which is determined on the first day with an English level test. All of the teachers are qualified as teachers of English as a second language.

Accommodation

Students are accommodated according to age and gender in a single room with a bathroom shared with other students. The program includes full board with a packed lunch provided on excursion days.

Activities, Sports & Excursions

The program includes two full day excursiona and one part day excursion each week, except for the first week in which there is a full day and part day excursion. Visits include well known English destinations such as London, Warwick, Bath, Bristol...

Sporting and cultural activities complete the program each day as well as evening activities such as movies, karaoke, disco, games, handicrafts, etc every day of the week. The students will be supervized by native counselors at all times, including during activities, as well as by our own monitor.

Counselors & Information

Students will be accompanied at all times by a Spanish councelor as well as native English councelors.
