Chinatown, Japan Town, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Italian neighborhood and the trolley cars make San Francisco a multicultural, dynamic and unforgettable city.
Over 3,000 restaurants offer food from around the globe. Other popular city attractions include concerts, museums, theaters and opera.
San Francisco's climate allows for participation in a wide range of sports as well as plenty of weekend excursions. Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park are just a few hours away from the city, while the famous Napa Valley is just a one-hour drive.
In addition, San Francisco has one of the best public transportation systems in the United States.

Families
Students can choose between a double or single room and the meal plan is half board every day of the week. The families live in various residential neighborhoods, at a distance of 25 to 45 minutes from the academic center. Staying with a host family is without a doubt one of the best ways to learn and improve a language.
Apartments
Students can also elect to stay in an individual apartment, a double apartment with another student if they're traveling together, or a double apartment shared with another international student. Apartments are located between a 10 and 20-minute walk from the school, and each room has a color television, a telephone, a microwave, a refrigerator and a private bathroom.
