English or French classes, held in international groups of no more than 15 students, are held from Monday to Friday for three hours each day. On the first Monday of a student's program, they will take a French language test to determine their level: beginner, intermediate or advanced.
Our professors, graduates of the University of Nice, are specialized in teaching of French as a foreign language. Thanks to their experience, students enjoy French classes that progress in a serious, structured manner but in a pleasant atmosphere in which conversation is encouraged, without forgetting about other grammatical aspects of the language.
Those looking to engage on a more intensive course will have the option of signing up to 21 lesson per week course (morning lessons plus two afternoons per week).
Upon completion of their French summer course in Monaco, all students will receive a course certificate.
Students reside in a residential building comprised of rooms for 3 or 4 students with shared bathrooms or in bungalows for 3 or 4 people with exterior bathrooms. Students are grouped with other students of similar ages but different nationalities. Meals are eaten in the center's restaurant.
There is a full day excursion every Saturday to get to know the region: the perfumes of Grasse, la Croisette and the Lérins Islands at Cannes, Vallauris' pottery, artistic glasswork of Blot, St Paul de Vence and its artists, etc.
Five afternoons a week, activities such as excursions to Monaco, the Oceanographic Museum, Old Nice, the Promenade des Anglais (Nice), the medieval town of Eze or the greek village in Beaulieu; sports like sailing, tennis, swimming (at the beach or in the pool at Monte Carlo), or water games amongst others.
Every night there is a choice of different activities: sports tournaments - basketball, volleyball, ping pong, football; cultural activities - cooking, t-shirt painting, jewellery making, pottery, magic, circus, folklore; entertainment and concerts in the amphitheater, dancing, cinema...
