This Mediterranean city is a a wonderful place year round, where you can find a mix of history, culture, festivals, fashion, beaches, shopping, leisure, sports and having fun. The city of Cannes is located in the region of Provence-Alpes on the French Riviera. It's surrounded on land by the Boulevard de la Croisette and on water by the Lerins islands. It is home to one of the top film festivals in the world.

Course Dates & Duration

Students can begin their program any Sunday between July 8 and August 17, with a minimum duration of 2 weeks.
Arrivals on Sundays and departures on Saturdays

Academic Center

The campus is located in the center of Cannes, only 2.5 kilometers from "la Croisette" (one of the main arteries of the city), and 1.5 kilometers away from the train station. The campus offers its students 30,000 m2 of academic, residential and sports facilities in a historic building of the city. The students will also enjoy green areas and a large swimming pool of 16 x 4 meters, which is enabled during the summer months.

The course is carried out by a private international school, with all due accreditations.

Course Characteristics

The general program includes 20 french lessons per week. The first day there is a level test that will determine the students level group. Those students who wish to follow a more extensive program have the option of taking a course of 26 weekly lessons.

Accommodation

Those students who choose to stay at the campus will be accommodated in double rooms witha full board treatment. There is a shared bathroom for every two rooms.

Those students who want to experience a bigger immersion will have the choice of staying with a host family, where they will share the room with another international student. Breakfast and dinner will be held at the household, while the meals from Monday to Friday will be at the campus' cafeteria. The families are 15 to 30 minutes away from the school on public transportation.

Excursions, Sports & Activities

The program includes a varied sports, cultural and social activities program that take place every day after classes as well as after dinner. International games, barbeques and sports tournaments will be some of the activities held after lunch. every week, there will be a salining afternoon, as well as a half-day excursion to destinations like Antibes and Marineland Dolphin Park or Monaco. Saturdays will be the day for a full-day excursion to Nice, “Iles de Lérins” or a theme park.
