Also known as the "Venice of the West," Galway, set on the western Atlantic coast of Ireland, straddles the banks of the Corrib River and is a very safe city with about 70,000 inhabitants, of which 15,000 are university students.
Galway sits at the gates of Connemara and the Aran Islands, a place of great geographical and ecological importance. The majority of its industry is based on technology, computer, telephone and medical equipment companies. Galway is also famous for the warm, kind character of its people.
Founded in 1989, this school offers a wide variety of programs for international students. Located just 15 minutes walking from the heart of the city, it's located in an impressive, recently renovated building.

Families
The most popular housing option is with a family, which the school visits every so often to make sure that the student feels at home. They are carefully selected and always provide a pleasant, welcoming environment for students.
You will stay in an individual room with half board from Monday to Friday with full board on weekends.
Residences
Apartments consist of two or three rooms with a shared bathroom, living room and kitchen. They are very well furnished and include TV, video, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and all the other necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
There are 3 residences, one at a 5 to 10 minute walk from the English school, another at a 25-minute walk and another offering double rooms for 2 students traveling together.
Apart from your English course in Galway, you can enjoy a varied activity program designed to introduce students to the Irish way of life and culture. You will receive a weekly schedule of possible activities and their prices. These may be excursions to the theater, music festivals, movie screenings or taking cultural trips to emblematic sights like the Cliffs of Moher with incredible views of the Atlantic and the town of Killary, where you can see Ireland's only fjord.
