Tucked into a valley of the Bavarian Alps and located just 68 kilometers from Munich, Augsburg is a vibrant and lively city steeped in history and with a vibrant social and cultural life.
With more than two thousand years of history, Augsburg is one of Germany's oldest cities. This, however, has hardly been an obstacle as today it is a pleasant and prosperous city in which our students have a wonderful time.

Learning a foreign language where it is spoken means also getting to know another country's people, culture and way of life. For this very reason, our academic center in Augsburg is dedicated to taking care of the needs and interests of each student as they experience the German language and culture both inside and outside of the classroom.
The German course program consists of 20 lessons of general German each week in classes of no more than 15 students. Courses follow a communicative approach to learning language. With a constant focus on dialogue and interaction, lessons incorporate grammar and vocabulary along with subjects such as geography, history and politics.
For those students who want a more intensive course, there is the possibility of taking a course with 24 lessons per week.
Each lesson is equivalent to 45 actual minutes of class.
Students will stay with German host families, carefully hand-picked by our staff. Only one Spanish-speaking student is housed in each family. Students will reside in a double room with full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). All families are located between 20 and 45 minutes via public transportation from the school.
There is an option of staying in an individual room for those students who would prefer it.
To complement their German studies, program participants will also be able to take advantage of a variety of leisure activities, sports and touristic visits. On Saturdays we will organize a full day excursion to such interesting destinations as Munich, Chiemsee and Füssen, and during the week, three leisure activities. Students will undertake these actvities accompanied by a local counsilor.
