For the past 30 years the highly recognized school has taught English lessons to students from up to 50 different countries. The program takes place within the campus of the world-famous Yale University, affording a unique experience for our students to enjoy the environment of one of the primary campuses in the United States.
The program includes 24 weekly lessons to international groups from Monday to Friday, divided between 20 lessons of General English during the mornings, and 4-hour workshops on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon. Each student will undergo a preliminary test to determine their proficiency and will then be allotted to the corresponding course level. Each lesson will consist of 45 minutes of actual class.
The maximum number of students per class is 8.
Students will be able to choose between the full Yale University course, including classes and a series of activities, or the basic program of two or three weeks, with a trip of six days and nights through Washington D. C. and New York during the final week.
Accommodation will be provided inside the campus, in double rooms with shared bathrooms and with a full board. The residence is located inside the university campus.
The basic course includes, Monday to Saturday, a complete program of activities, such as visits to the cities of New Haven and New York, as well as a rich variety of sports and entertainment, all of them carried out under the supervision of local monitors. On Sundays, students may choose between several different proposals put forward by the monitors and carry them out inside the campus.
Students who choose to take the six-day-and-night trip will visit the most emblematic streets and monuments of Washington D. C. and New York.
The students have the transfer to and from JFK airport (New York) included in the course price. These transfers will be collective, for the school will group all students arriving or leaving at simlar hours.
Students will be accompanied by local monitors at all times.
