In the U.S, the university system is based on obtaining a total of 120 credits. Each subject is assigned a total number of class hours. The total of all subject hours adds up to the number of credits necessary to graduate.
American students can take courses 12 months of the year. In this way, they cut a 5-year degree into 4 years. During the summer months, students from other countries around the world go to the U.S. to take courses related to their studies at home. At the end of the course, the university will grant you the official credits you have completed.
If the student's university follows the same system as the American one, that student will be able to accumulate credits and take full advantage of their time in the U.S.
The universities offer more than 300 course subjects during the summer. Your grade and credits will depend on attendance, note-taking, written assignments, presentations and examinations.
We can also set you up with universities in England, Canada & Australia, although it is more difficult to match these credits with the Spanish system.
