Known as Argentina's "colonial capital," Córdoba - Argentina's second largest city - was founded in 1573 and is brimming with colonial-era buildings, such as Argentina's first university, countless churches and the town hall.
Córdoba is located directly in the center of the country, making it a convenient starting point for traveling. It’s just 100km (160 miles) from both the slopes of the Andes and the plains of Argentina's famous Pampas.
The city has grown significantly over the last decade and is enjoying quite the cultural renaissance. New industries and commercial ventures have led to modern buildings, hip neighborhoods, shopping centers and a lively nightlife. These constantly developing changes are having a tremendous revitalizing effect on the city’s infrastructure and citizens. In other words, right now is the perfect time live here and witness these exciting changes as they develop!
With a serene landscape of rivers, lakes and valleys, mild temperatures, beautiful historic buildings, few tourists, a prestigious university and a vibrant social scene… could you ask for anything more?
