About Les Paccots

The picturesque resort town of Les Paccots, just 10 minute by car from Montreux, is located at 1,000 meters above sea level at the base of the Alps. This safe location is ideal both to study and to take full advantage of the area's natural surroundings, as students can participate in numerous sports and activities, both within and outside of the center, designed just for them.

Zug is a small city with 15,000 habitants located in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, in the northeastern pat of the Zuger See lake. Its natural beautiful and privileged geographical location in the heart of Switzerland makes this city a prime cultural and tourist destination. It allows students to discover the Alps and is the perfect place to learn German or English amongst lakes and mountains.

Academic Centers

Les Paccots:
The Chavacots campus is set right into a lush forest and is surrounded by fantastic sports instlalations: a basketball court, a volleyball court, a football field and two tennis courts. Additionally, students can play other sports such as badminton or ping-pong.

Zug:
The program in Zug takes place at the prestigious Saint Michael School, which is located very near the city center and less than a 10-minute walk from the Zuger See lake.

The building is fully-equipped and has an excellent infrastructure: 8 classrooms, study rooms with TV and DVD, theater, game room, computer lab with free Internet access. It also has athletic facilities available to students, such as a gym, a football field, and basketball, handball and volleyball courts.

Course Characteristics

In both programs students will take a level test on the first day. The courses are held in the mornings from Monday to Friday.

Students can choose either 15 or 20 lessons per week, as well as either English or French in Les Paccots.

In Zug, they can choose either 20 or 25 lessons and either German or English.

Accommodation

Students will reside in the campus residence in Les Paccots, sharing comfortable rooms built for either two or four students, with one bathroom per two rooms.

In Zug, students will also reside on the cmapus in comfortable triple or quadruple rooms. All of the rooms have a sink, and in the hallways there are shared bathrooms and showers. For the safety of the students, counselors live on campus and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The stay includes full board (all meals) in both programs.

Activities & Sports

To make the stay unforgettable, both schools offer a daily program of diverse activities, including excursions to popular tourist sights, always with the supervision of a team of counselors.
